You come into this amusement park called life, alone, suffer, laugh, suffer some more, and die. That is a diminished reality we call living. Everything else is an illusion.
We fool ourselves daily. We believe in couples, groups of people. We count on families, governments, places of worship, the society in general. What a crock. We seek company in this chaotic place between deaths, we call life.
Go to great lengths to keep other humans in reach.
And yet, every one of us knows deep down we dwell in this realm alone, adrift. We are products of our inner landscapes, where thoughts, fears, aspirations, rule the horizon.
Owing to this fact-the ones in charge manipulate us to plug-in, be at one with the media. Be it by TV, Radio, Mobile Device, at the movies, in the newspaper, on the internet.
Contemplation on our own terms is mandatory, gets boring after a while. Alone is a common reality on this plane of existence. We strive to belong still we never quite feel connected to anything or anyone outside ourselves. It is only the two poles of ourselves (ego and id) that constantly battle the omnipresent need for balance yet also provides a sense of place a secure base of operations which sparks belonging.
